I don’t object to people emigrating to Canada, regardless of colour or religion. Even if some are criminals, terrorists or freeloaders, a few more walking our streets would be undetectable anyways. But I hugely object to who must pay their way-me and every other law abiding taxpayer. Every time I see hundreds of millions of dollars spent on people who never have or never will contribute to this country, I feel the same as if I had just been robbed on the street. How can someone who has been in Canada for 5 minutes deserve numerous free government services while people who’ve lived ,worked and paid taxes their entire lives in Canada are entitled to nothing but paying more taxes? If someone wants to come here, they should be able to contribute immediately or have their way paid for by the numerous groups advocating compassion and empathy all the while calling me a racist.
